From 3 to 5 September, Montreux hosted another edition of Freddie Mercury's Montreux Memorial Day, true to its spirit: free, festive and open to all.

Numerous concerts punctuated the weekend, with memorable performances by bands from all over Europe: Queen Alive and Dragon Attack from Italy, The Royal Squeeze Box from Germany, Bohemia and singer Lucie Halamíková from the Czech Republic. One of the highlights was undoubtedly The Barcelona Project, a Norwegian band bringing together more than 35 musicians to powerfully revisit the world of Barcelona before diving into Queen's rock repertoire.

Between concerts, fans were able to embark on a cruise to the Lake House with Peter Freestone, or enjoy a selection of dishes combining Freddie's favourite flavours – Indian and Indonesian – with local produce.

Three days of sharing, music and emotion on the shores of Lake Geneva.
