2018
In 2018, Freddie Days brought the quays of Montreux to life with a series of free activities around the statue of Freddie Mercury.
Live concerts, continuous music and food stalls helped to create a welcoming and festive atmosphere.
Although the traditional cruises to the Lake House had to be cancelled at the last minute, the festivities continued unabated.
Under the covered market, the band '39 Queen Tribute drew a large crowd for a particularly well-received concert. The Swiss scene was also in the spotlight with original performances by pianist Tomas Tesoro and the Opus 5 brass quintet, each revisiting the world of Queen in their own unique way.
The Casino Barrière hosted the official anniversary evening of the Mercury Phoenix Trust. The band Bulsara and His Queenies electrified the room with a powerful performance, closing this edition on a note of celebration and sharing.
