During this latest edition of Freddie Celebration Days, the atmosphere around the statue of Freddie Mercury was transformed thanks to unique visual installations and festive staging.
Fans were delighted to return to the cruises to the Lake House, guided by Peter Freestone, offering an immersive journey in the footsteps of Freddie in Montreux.
In terms of concerts, festival-goers were treated to several free performances, including the highly anticipated set by Italian band The Dragon Attack.
A particularly memorable moment was the set by Lausanne duo The Grumpy's, who delivered a unique interpretation of the album Made in Heaven. Set up around the statue, their stage was enhanced by a light show designed by Jean-Marc Tinguely, creating a musical and visual tribute of great intensity.
Meanwhile, the Casino de Montreux hosted the official Mercury Phoenix Trust evening. The band One Night of Queen gave a powerful performance, paying tribute to the legend of Queen in this iconic venue, much to the delight of the many fans in attendance.
