On 31 August, 1 and 2 September, Montreux hosted an energetic musical programme featuring two Italian bands, Kinds of Magic and Dragon Attack, who thrilled the audience with their Queen covers.
They were joined by the band Space from the Czech Republic and the duo Royal Squeeze Box, well known to regulars of the event.
In terms of meetings, composer Mike Moran, famous for his collaboration with Freddie on the album Barcelona, gave a talk at the Eden Palace Hotel. Peter Freestone also offered several moments of warm exchange, notably during Tea at the Palace and in the covered market hall, sharing memories and anecdotes with fans.
